The Overview

This client was downsizing from a large home and wanted his new space to feel fresh, modern, and welcoming for hosting friends and family. The goal was to create a home that felt intentional and elevated, while still being comfortable and easy to live in.

The Details

One of the most important elements was his impressive art collection. Many of the pieces were meaningful to him and deserved to be properly showcased within the new space. We carefully measured each artwork and incorporated them into the design planning from the beginning. This allowed us to thoughtfully plan wall layouts, lighting locations, and furniture placement so that the art felt integrated rather than like an afterthought.

The Result

By designing around these pieces, the home not only reflects his personal story but also creates moments of visual interest throughout the space. The result is a modern, welcoming home where his collection becomes a central feature and a natural conversation starter when friends and family gather.
