The Overview
This new build was designed for a homeowner who loved the character and warmth of a partially timber frame home and wanted a layout that would feel both beautiful and highly functional for everyday living. The planning focused on creating spaces that truly supported her lifestyle, including a dedicated area for her table and a thoughtfully designed kitchen with pantry cabinetry tailored to her needs. Storage was carefully considered throughout, with room for canning projects, large appliances, cookie sheets, and more.
The Details
Aging in place was also an important part of the design vision. The home includes a fully accessible bathroom and space within the planning for a future elevator if needed. Warm, practical materials were selected to suit the home’s character and the demands of acreage living, resulting in a home that feels inviting, functional, and well prepared for the future.
