Introduction

I’m Audrey, founder of the 1288 Design Company Inc.

After completing a 2-year Interior Design Technology Program at Lakeland College, I moved to Cochrane. For nearly 14 years I worked for a luxury design/ renovation firm managing projects from initial consult to final walk through. This experience gives me a comprehensive understanding of what information will be required to make your projects run smoothly.

The drafting software I use, Chief Architect, allows me to make beautiful 3D renderings. I am excited to learn more about your business, and how we could work together!

One

Discovery Call

Every project starts with a phone call. This is a 15-20 minute conversation where we will get to know each other and lay the groundwork for future interactions. We will discuss your project goals, and you can ask any questions about 1288, the process, etc.

Two

Onsite Consultation

The goal of our onsite consultation will depend on your project. We may look at paint colour, discuss décor and furniture placement ideas, broad renovation discussions, and much more. This will be tailored to you and your project needs.

We may also gather information required to assemble the contract. This might include confirmation of the project scope & further discussion, and taking general dimensions & photographs.

Three

Design Services Contract

We will meet in person to present the contract that will outline our agreement, fees, timelines, etc. Note: This is not the design, it is the contract outlining services. After the contract is signed and deposit is paid, we will start the design planning as per the contract.

Four

Design Process

From concept presentation to final Documents, we will plan your project as laid out in your contract! We will make a comprehensive design package and provide documentation to ensure anyone working on your project knows the details.

Five

Implementation

1288 Design Company works collaboratively with your contractor to ensure a smooth process. We will review your plans with your contractor and meet the team onsite to make sure that everyone is on the same page.

Six

Furniture & Decor

1288 will make all the arrangements for the delivery and installation of your new furniture, accessories, and artwork. The final space will be a stunning reflection of your personality and ready to show off!
